Maindec renews the HP Gold Preferred Partner for 2010. The
Gold partnership status is only awarded to those partners who
demonstrate the highest level of HP technical accreditation and have
achieved a specialisation within HP. This further strengthens Maindec's
relationship with one of the worlds most prestigious manufacturers of
high quality hardware and software. Maindec are HP specialists in all
aspects of Blades, Storage, ProLiant Servers, Integrity Servers and
other legacy systems. |

Maindec renews Microsoft Gold Partner status for 2010.
Gold Certified Partners represent the highest level of competence and
expertise with Microsoft technologies and have the closest working
relationship with Microsoft. This is the 12th year that Maindec has been
accredited as a Microsoft partner. Maindec has achieved Microsoft
Specialisations in Active Directory and Networking. Maindec consults, sells, installs,
configures and supports a whole range of Microsoft software products and
can integrate them into highly complex environments. |

Maindec was invited to attend the Procurex event in Scotland.
Maindec is a key service provider to the Scottish Government. Produced

Management, Procurex 09 offers a unique and inspirational business
environment for buyers from across the public and private sector markets
to examine the capabilities on offer through local and national

Maindec is very pleased to announce the appointment of Peter
Darraugh as our new Financial Director. Peter was formerly the FD at
Spring Group PLC and previously FD at Northgate Information Solutions.
With this appointment Peter brings a wealth of IT industry related
knowledge to Maindec and will help develop a clear financial strategy
for the future. |

Maindec wins another opportunity to provide customised Desktop and
Laptop configurations to a major UK building company. Maindec manages
the whole life-cycle of the equipment, organising personality migrations
from old to new equipment and then arranging for the environmentally
controlled destruction of the redundant systems. |

Maindec attains the highest level of SUN Storage accredited
professionals. Two of Maindec's technical consultants are awarded this
Level 4 Sun Certified Senior Support Engineer. This demonstrates
Maindec's commitment to keeping highly trained staff to provide services
around the high quality Sun Storage systems. |

Maindec enhances it's internal demonstration suite. This area now
includes all of the high quality major HP SAN systems, Blade Enclosure
and Tape Library equipment. Maindec is able to build complex
'proof-of-concepts' configurations to fully satisfy a customer specific
design requirements. Maindec has in depth skills that includes, SAN,
Networking, HP Systems, SUN Microsystems, IBM and many others. Maindec
has the ability to deliver and support multi vendor applications and
services. |

Maindec celebrates it's 30 year anniversary this month. All at
Maindec feel this is an excellent achievement and a difficult feat
considering the recent economic climate. Maindec has always traded under
the same name, this has established the Maindec brand of one of quality
and commitment to providing the highest level of service at the most
competitive price. This can only be attained through the dedication of
all the Maindec staff, many of whom have worked for the company for over
20 years ! |

Maindec implements a complex domain migration project for a large
customer. This entailed migrating the data from Unix Hosts over to a
newly designed and built Microsoft AD environment. All the user profiles
had to be carefully transferred and the business critical applications
had to be moved without business interruption. Maindec managed the whole
project management process and the whole operation was a complete
success. |

Maindec updates it's Mobile Data Suite application to provide
enhanced services to it's mobile engineering workforce. Engineers can
now work in a fully autonomous mode having access to all key company
data and being able to capture customer signatures and full system
configuration information. This has improved Maindec's call response
time and yielded multiple customer benefits in the better service now
delivered. |

Maindec enhances it's PC Imaging Centre by installing new high speed
lines. This allows Maindec to install a base image and then fully
configure the PC to the customers specification on an individual user
basis. This has greatly reduced the time from order to delivery of a
fully configured desktop. Maindec is continually implementing new
technology and innovation to enhance one of the most flexible imaging
services provided by any UK supplier. |

Maindec implements new system monitoring product. This supports
systems across a wide selection of vendors including HP Integrity
Servers (running Windows, OpenVMS or HP-UX), HP Alpha Servers (running
OpenVMS or Tru64Unix) SUN Servers running Solaris and a wide variety of
Intel and networking platforms. |
